About the Women's Sport Project
It's no secret that African-American women have successfully participated in competitive sport for centuries. In the 20th century alone African-American women have competed both as amateur and professional players of tennis, basketball, golf, fencing, track and field, soccer and lacrosse.
Our Partnerships
